Highway 1

Finally getting around to posting the remaining photos from our trip down the Coast! We started in the San Francisco Bay Area, then stopped (for the night/for the day/for a few minutes) in:

– Santa Cruz
– Moss Landing
– Carmel-by-the-Sea
– Big Sur
– Cayucos
– Pismo Beach
– Santa Barbara

I have lived in California for 15 years. In all my trips up and down the state, I have stuck to the faster route– Highway 5. The slower journey down Highway 1, while windy and much slower– is highly recommended.
