We headed over to the Dongtai Lu “Antique” Market, located on Dongtai Road in the Luwan District. This historic outdoor market is packed with stalls full of “antiques” (most are assumed to be fake). Goods included Mao watches, beads, all sorts of Chinese trinkets, porcelain vases, clothing, wooden statues and more! Regardless of whether the goods are real or fake, it’s worth a visit. You’ll find great bargains wandering from shop to shop comparison shopping.
