WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL

Went to check out the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall last Friday night. This has been on our “things to do in LA” list for a while and the experience was well worth the wait. As anyone who has driven by knows, the concert hall is beautiful. But, the interior is amazing. That’s our covert pic of the hall above.

We listened to Mozart and Bruckner with conductor Christoph Eschenbach. This is a great pick if you’re not sure how you’ll feel about a longer show as the entire program (with 20-min intermission) is less than two hours long.

We recommend scoping out the scene in the summer and if you find you’ll a real fan– make sure to check out the shows conducted by Gustavo Dudamel who was named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential in 2009. His first show this year will be in October.
